Three times this year the Iranians hoisted the "flag of revenge" over the Jamarkhan Mosque in the city of Qom in Iran:

April 1: After the assassination of General Reza Zahedi in an attack attributed to Israel on the Iranian embassy in Damascus.

July 31: after the assassination of Ismail Haniya in Tehran.
