In the past hour, residents in northern Romania near the Ukrainian border were ordered to remain in place following warnings of possible Russian drones entering and crashing inside Romanian territory.
At the same time, reports from eastern Poland confirm that residents across Lublin province received alerts of a potential “air strike.” Local authorities instructed citizens to “exercise special caution, follow the guidance of security services, and await further updates.”
Both countries, NATO members bordering Ukraine, have been on heightened alert as Russia intensifies drone and missile strikes near the frontier.
According to reports in the Romanian media, a Russian reconnaissance drone infiltrated Romanian territory, forcing the Romanian armed forces to declare readiness.
