“Fatah” Leader murdered in Ain el-Hilweh by Islamists

“Fatah” security executive, Yassine Akl, was killed on Monday in Ain el-Hilweh camp, eyewitness said.

Circumstances of the murder haven’t yet been determined, as he is believed to have been killed by Islamists.

“Fatah” movement is currently on alert, in the Tira neighborhood of the camp, with residents displaced in anticipation of any development which might occur.

Sources associated with Fatah claim that Yassin Akel is the son-in-law of "Abu Ashraf Al-Aramushi" who served as commander of the Fatah forces in the Ein Al-Khalwa camp, in the past.
