HISTORIC agreement signed between Israeli and Egyptian companies for the transfer of goods by land route [MAP]

This morning the Israeli company Traknet reports on an agreement in principle signed with the WWCS company from Egypt that will allow the use of Israel's border crossings for the transfer of goods by land route, from the port of Dubai, through Saudi Arabia and Jordan to Israel, and from there, through the Mediterranean Sea or land, to Egypt.

According to the company's announcement, the land crossing through the border crossings approved by the Israeli government and the Ministry of Defense will be an express route, shortening the sea shipping routes by ten days, and will be used as an emergency response to the Houthi threat to shipping routes in the Red Sea.

This agreement follows on from two additional work agreements signed by the company, one with the Puretranse FZCO company from the United Arab Emirates, which works in cooperation with the Dubai Ports Company DP WORKD, to operate a land bridge between the Union and the Port of Haifa in Israel, and the other with a transport and logistics company from Bahrain, Cox Logistics WLL, which specializes in managing and freight forwarding, which is also a member of the project.

Hanan Friedman, CEO of Traknet says: " This week we completed the construction of the land bridge route that will connect the United Arab Emirates to Israel and Egypt. This is a historic economic breakthrough, which brings to light the economic and commercial cooperation between Arab countries that joined Israel, in order to fight the "axis of evil".

The purpose of the line is not to replace the use of the Suez Canal, but to be a complementary express route, which will serve as a bypass route for the Houthi threat in the Red Sea in times of emergency, and will shorten shipping times by ten days in times of calm."

However, it was reported that the Trakant company "cannot estimate, at this stage, the date of the beginning of the cargo transportation activity on the land bridge route to Egypt within the framework of the cooperation, the extent of the expected demand for it and the timing and extent of the revenues that will be received from this project".

This is good news, but the Arabs have the burden to make certain this agreement works properly. That means they must be willing to arrest the terrorists in their lands who try to hijack or destroy.
