The IDF Arabic-language spokesman has exposed Hamas operative Salam Yaish, a Nablus-born terrorist who relocated to Turkey and now directs terror activities in the West Bank from the protection he receives there.
According to the IDF, Yaish has been involved in planning and guiding attacks while relying on the safe haven provided by Turkey’s President Erdoğan, who continues to give Hamas operatives shelter on Turkish soil.
Given the limits on Israel’s ability to act directly against Hamas operatives operating from Turkey, the IDF issued a clear warning to residents of Nablus: anyone who communicates or collaborates with Yaish will face prosecution. The message underscores Israel’s determination to shut down Hamas terror networks in Judea and Samaria, even when their masterminds hide abroad.
