An Emirati news outlet, Aram News, reports—citing informed Lebanese sources and figures close to Hezbollah—that the organization is facing a growing crisis within its middle ranks. This level includes field commanders, regional officials, and various supervisory roles.
According to the report, a noticeable phenomenon has emerged: mid-level operatives are requesting temporary release from non-combat duties or seeking a redistribution of responsibilities. Sources describe the situation as “structural exhaustion,” caused by an overload of tasks and responsibilities.
These operatives are reportedly stretched across multiple fronts simultaneously: managing the confrontation with Israel, maintaining internal stability within Lebanon, preserving organizational discipline, and acting as the interface between leadership and local communities.
The burden is particularly heavy because these officials must also deal directly with the families of wounded and killed operatives, control public sentiment in villages, address widespread dissatisfaction, and provide convincing explanations for an ongoing situation that cannot clearly be framed as either victory or defeat.
