BREAKING Lebanon has declared Iran’s ambassador persona non grata

Hezbollah pressed the Iranian ambassador to ignore the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s directive to leave the country.

Lebanon has declared Iran’s ambassador-designate Mohammad Reza Shibani persona non grata, ordering him to leave by Sunday.

The move makes it the fourth Arab state in a week, after Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, to expel Iranian diplomats.
