Foreign Visitors to Israel Down 63%

Israel continues to see a major decrease in foreign visitors as the Iron Swords War against Hamas continues.
Israel’s Central Bureau of statistics reported that 110,100 travelers visited Israel in July 2024, down from 294,800 in July 2023.This marked a 63% decrease.
Of these, 108,300 were foreign visitors, down from 270,200 in July 2023. This marked a 60% decline.
In the period of January through July 2024, there were 611,300 cumulative visitor arrivals to Israel, down from 2.4 million in the corresponding period in 2023. This marked a 74% decrease.
