Dr. Kobby Barda, the top Israeli expert on America suggest a solution to the issue of American aid to Israel.
I read Laura Loomer’s take, and while she tries a “judo move,” I disagree—and I have a proposal for how the alliance between our nations should look within the MOU framework (the $3.8B annual US security assistance since 2018 that ends in 2028).
My idea: Israel does a full match. For every dollar in the next MOU, Israel commits one Israeli dollar to purchases in the United States.
If, for example, the next decade-long package is $4B per year, Israel would raise its annual US procurement by $4B. The partnership would thus present an $8B yearly fund dedicated exclusively to American products and services.
