A year after being chosen by the Spanish army, the Guardian 30 turret of the Escribano APC launched the first Spike LR2 missile from the vessel. This firing allows the Spanish company to meet the Spanish army's requirement to equip the VCR Dragon with a turret that incorporates anti-tank missiles.
