News of an embarrassing deal between Iran regime and the Belgian government for the release of Assadollah Asadi, a terrorist diplomat who was sentenced to 20 years in prison last year for a bombing plot.

On June 29, the Belgian government tabled a bill aimed at approving a convention on the transfer to Iran of convicted persons. A text which, if adopted by the deputies, would notably allow the return to Tehran of Assadollah Assadi, a diplomat convicted by the Antwerp court, for his involvement in a planned bomb attack in France.
