In a historic and unprecedented meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met last night with U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson in the town of Shiloh, located in the heart of the Binyamin region.
This marks the first time such a high-level diplomatic encounter has taken place in Judea and Samaria. Johnson, the third-most senior figure in the U.S. government, spent the entire day touring the area — a visit approved in advance by the White House.
During the meeting, Netanyahu reportedly told Johnson and accompanying senior lawmakers that a military decision in Gaza is inevitable.
Attendees at the event included the U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and his wife, Members of Congress Michael McCaul, Claudia Tenney, Michael Cloud, and Nathaniel Moran, as well as Israel Gantz, chairman of the Yesha Council and head of the Binyamin Regional Council. Also present was Ditsa Or, mother of kidnapped Israeli Avinatan Or, both residents of Shiloh.
