A new report by The Telegraph claims that Iran’s state-linked broadcasting and propaganda apparatus is operating openly from within the United Kingdom.
According to the investigation, the Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU) — designated by the US in 2020 as a propaganda arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — is connected to several broadcasting outlets registered in the UK. These reportedly include channels such as Hidayat TV, Ahlul Bayt TV, Al Masirah TV, and LuaLua TV, which operates out of London.
The report further alleges that some of these networks have aired content praising senior figures from terrorist groups including Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, as well as former IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani, referring to them as “martyrs” and “heroes.”
