The Islamic Republic of Iran has been training for war with Israel for over a quarter of a century, while those who sounded the alarm about this were dismissed as “Islamophobes.”

"Senior Iranian Navy commander General Reza Abbasi appeared on Channel 1 (Iran) on June 15, 2025, stating that Israel is not even “in the same league” as Iran in terms of military power and capability. He said that the “lunatic” Netanyahu is in no position to withstand Iran’s armed forces, and that Iran has so far revealed only a “fraction” of its capabilities. Abbasi added that Iran has “very high capabilities” and is waiting to assess the enemy’s condition, noting, “we have been training for this for 26–27 years.”
