WATCH: Israeli Woman Describes Being Dragged Out of Holocaust Event in Ireland

Israeli Lior Tibet, a PhD student and mother of two, was forcibly removed from a ceremony in Ireland commemorating 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz.

Tibet, along with others, turned her back during a speech by Irish President Michael D. Higgins during which he compared Israel to Nazi Germany.

While being dragged away, she yelled, “I’m Jewish. Why are you removing me?”
