Roman occupiers called the Jewish Homeland “Philistina” after the Philistine invaders (extinct and unconnected to Arabs or Moslems).
“PALESTINIANS” meant Jews in their indigenous Homeland
until the term was appropriated to present the largely recent massive Arab migration as a People with indigenous rights to the land of Israel:
