Lebanese Justice minister: Beirut port probe at 'advanced stage'

Lebanon's Minister of Justice told Al-Arabiya that the investigation into the devastating Beirut port explosion is “at an advanced stage.”

He emphasized that a disaster of such magnitude cannot go unanswered, and that the legal process must deliver justice.

The August 2020 blast killed over 220 people and wounded thousands, but no senior official has yet been held accountable.

The statement signals renewed pressure from within Lebanon’s judiciary to resolve a case long stalled by political interference and legal roadblocks by Hezbollah and its allies in the government.

It’s Hizbulla who brought that amount of explosive nitrates , for production of 100’s of 1000’s of missiles and rockets. and it’s absolutely Israel’s right to attempt to detonate it.
