In a defiant message from the top of Israel’s military headquarters, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed Iranian claims that Tel Aviv had been “destroyed,” delivering a wartime update while overlooking the city skyline.
Standing atop the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, Netanyahu said he had just concluded a high-level security meeting with the defense minister, the IDF chief of staff, and the head of the Mossad. He confirmed that instructions were issued to continue and intensify the campaign against Iran.
According to the Prime Minister, Israel eliminated Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei along with dozens of senior regime officials. He stated that Israeli forces are now operating “in the heart of Tehran” with increasing strength, and that operations will expand further in the coming days.
Netanyahu acknowledged the heavy price Israel has paid. He referred to deadly attacks in Tel Aviv and in Beit Shemesh, expressing condolences to the families of those killed and wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
