President Donald Trump suggests Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, may not have survived recent attacks

President Donald Trump said that Iran planned to destroy the State of Israel and to seize control over the entire Middle East, adding that the plot has been foiled by the joint US-Israeli air campaign against the Islamic Republic.

On Friday, Trump took to his Truth Social account, writing that Iran had planned to conquer the Mideast and to annihilate the State of Israel.

“Iran had plans of taking over the entire Middle East, and completely obliterating Israel,” Trump wrote. “JUST LIKE IRAN ITSELF, THOSE PLANS ARE NOW DEAD!”
