IDF Spokesperson: This morning, forces from the Benjamin Brigade, in cooperation with fighters from the Duvdevan unit and the Judea and Samaria Border Guard, and under the direction of Central Command Intelligence and the Shin Bet, embarked on an operational operation in downtown Ramallah.
As part of the operation, the forces raided a money-changing business that transfers terrorist funds to Hamas terrorists in order to promote terrorist activities against the State of Israel and its citizens.
During the operation, five wanted suspects suspected of terrorist activity were arrested and transferred to the security forces for further processing, and hundreds of thousands of shekels that were classified as terrorist funds were also confiscated.
This activity joins a series of operations carried out by the IDF in the Judea and Samaria region, with the aim of damaging the economic structure of terrorist organizations and disrupting their ability to finance and promote terrorist activity against the State of Israel and its citizens.
