US vice president J.D. Vance will observe the Gaza Strip tomorrow using an unmanned aerial vehicle, officials say.
Vance is expected to arrive in the afternoon at the Kirya complex in Tel Aviv, where a drone flying over Gaza will project live imagery to present the situation — a format chosen instead of a physical entry into the Strip because of the security risk.
Earlier, Vance will visit the US command near Kiryat Gat accompanied by presidential adviser Jared Kushner and senior envoy Steve Witkoff.
From that base, US officials are to outline plans to oversee the demilitarization of Gaza and the disarmament of Hamas through an International Security Force (ISF) whose establishment Washington is currently working to build.
