Breaking: IDF thwarts Egyptian drug smuggling operation worth 1.2 million NIS
IDF soldiers spotted a number of suspects arriving at the border fence between Egypt and Israel to transfer roughly 30 kg of drugs worth some 1.2 million NIS. The IDF confiscated the drugs and transferred them to Israel Police custody for further investigation.

During the night, IDF surveillance identified several suspects who tried to smuggle drugs from Egyptian territory to Israeli territory in the area of the Paran regional division.
The IDF soldiers who were launched into the area thwarted the smuggling, seized and confiscated a bag in which about 30 kg of drugs with an estimated value of about 1.2 million NIS were found.
