BREAKING: PM Netanyahu decides to sack head of Shabak, Ronen Bar

Here is Netanyahu's statement to the nation on the sacking of Shabak head, an issue which has been in the making for some time and does not come as any surprise.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

"Due to ongoing distrust, I have decided to bring to the government a proposal for a resolution to terminate the position of the head of the Shin Bet.

Citizens of Israel, We are in the midst of a war for our very existence - a war on seven fronts.

I always had a great respect for Shin Bet, but I have a greater respect for PM Netanyahu and he calls the shots and has decided what must happen.

I'd be interested in knowing what sort of things Ronen Bar did - the publicly known things. I trust Bibi's choice. I just hope he still plans on destroying Hamas and Iran's nukes.
