Report: South Korea interested in Rafael’s anti-aircraft system

A source in the Ministry of Defense in Seoul told a local website that they are looking into the Sky Spotter, to help tackle drone threats from the north

The South Korean military is looking into acquiring an Israel-made system to improve its small drone detection and interception capabilities, against the threat of North Korea.

A source in the Ministry of National Defense in Seoul told a local website that they are looking into the Sky Spotter, manufactured by Rafael, which is designed for the early detection and monitoring of aerial threats, including UAVs, drones, observation balloons and kites – all tools used by terrorist organizations.
