The Russian long-range air defense battery, "S-300", was sent back from Syria to Russia, satellite images of the Israeli intelligence company "Imagesat International" revealed. According to estimates, Russia placed the battery in Syria to deter Israel from a significant attack in Syria.
The Israeli satellite company "Imagesat International" (ISI) is publishing this evening (Friday) an intelligence report with satellite images showing that the Russian long-range air defense battery, "S-300", was sent from Syria back to Russia - due to the need to strengthen the Russian military forces in the campaign in Ukraine.
This move, while it may help Israel and US-led coalition forces, shows that more and more, Russia is not able to hold both Syria and Ukraine. What Assad will do in this case is a big question.
