A US Marines Corp Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey aircraft crash killed at least three US Marines in Darwin, Australia on August 27
As per reports, the aircraft was carrying 23 personnel during a training exercise when it crashed, injuring 20 others.
Australia Defence Minister Richard Marles said there were a number of investigations underway involving the US and Australian militaries.
The fatal crash has put the tilt-rotor plane's safety record under renewed scrutiny.
