The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is set to meet with President Trump, and it is expected that the Saudis will request the ability to buy F-35s from the United States. 

There is just one issue: selling F-35s to the Saudis can potentially give not only the Saudis but possibly the Chinese access to weapons and technology that would put Israel into a weakened position vis-à-vis its adversaries.

For his part, President Trump would like the Saudis to agree to join the Abraham Accords and finally normalize their relationship with Israel.
