According to analyst Brandon Weichert, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman believes President Donald Trump may soon launch a major American military operation on Iranian territory.

Weichert argues that such a move would almost certainly trigger Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia on Iran’s behalf.

He therefore believes the Saudi leadership is attempting to weaken the Iranian-backed terrorist organization and improve its strategic position before any broader American offensive begins.
