We were transferred to a clinic in (Sinai) Nueba," Banon continued. "We were unable to reach the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and when the Egyptian ambulances arrived to evacuate us to Israel - they demanded payment.
We had no cash and an Israeli couple who was on the scene helped and paid 1,200 Egyptian pounds for us each for the ambulance, all this so that we could get to Israel."
