Yoni Ben-Menachem tweets this morning:
Macron: "Without Israel and the Gulf states, it will be difficult to reach an agreement with Iran"
During a state visit to Dubai, the French president referred to the nuclear talks in Vienna: "It is likely that this round of negotiations, given the positions, will not succeed." Macron called for initiating "broader dynamics" with countries in the region
NEWSRAEL:
It seems that Macron has decided to get some revenge against the Biden "coup" in the selling of submarines to Australia. Not only has he come to the Gulf in order to help solve the crisis with Lebanon, but he is releasing statements as above that the Vienna talks need to take into account the actual people who live next to Iran and not just the Western, Russia and China who want to do business with the Ayatollah regime.
The sale of 19 billion dollars of military equipment to the UAE, undermining Biden was a major deal and all this puts France, at the moment, in a much better international situation.
