Unbelievable: this is how the UN "convinced" the Taliban to come to an international conference on Afghanistan
The Taliban government that controls Afghanistan and is not recognized internationally announced on Tuesday that it will send an official delegation next week to an international conference under the auspices of the United Nations that will deal with the future of the country.
The conference will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
The confirmation of the Taliban's participation in the event comes after the organizers announced last week that women would not be present at the conference. 25 countries announced that they would send representatives.
