The Minister of Regional Cooperation in the Israeli government, Issawi Faraj, revealed that there are contacts with the Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia, regarding the Iranian issue, and stressed that this issue is a global issue that is not limited to a specific country.

Faraj said in an exclusive interview with the Arabic-language American news channel Alhora that there was "direct contact" and "understandings" and coordination with the "our brothers" in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states regarding Iranian threats, given that the matter does not only concerns Israel or Saudi Arabia, but should be addressed by the international community.

The regional cooperation minister has revealed that he "dreams" of a day when he will travel to Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to carry out the Hajj directly, without fatigue or suffering, and he is convinced that "such an opportunity will soon be seen."

Freage also stressed the existence of very strong ties at all levels with the "Brotherhood of the Emirates", based on the strong relations between the two countries, and the high-level reciprocal visits, as there is a "sincere intention" to implement a number of projects related to oil pipelines, solar energy and industrial zones adjacent to the south in Gaza, and in a number of other areas.

As for relations with Jordan, the Israeli minister noted in his interview with Al-Hura that in the last ten years he has been (unfortunately) witnessing a kind of crisis of confidence, but in recent months (Prime Minister Naftali) Bennett has visited Jordan to rebuild trust, and that collaboration on economic programs of interest to both sides, in the field of solar energy, and water.

Freage also revealed that Israel "is working to build desalination facilities to help Jordan and much is being done to restore trust with Jordan."
