Chinese military commentator claims the new unmanned stealth bomber could strike US and allied targets across the Pacific and alter calculations over Taiwan.
A Chinese military analyst has highlighted the recent maiden flight of China’s CH-7 flying-wing unmanned stealth bomber, portraying the platform as a long-range strike asset designed to deter US and allied intervention in the Taiwan arena.
In a December 15, 2025 video posted online, analyst Qianmiao described the CH-7 as a “transcontinental” UAV capable of threatening both land and maritime targets far beyond China’s immediate region.
According to Qianmiao, the CH-7 cruises at Mach 0.5–0.6, with a maximum speed of Mach 0.75, and operates at an altitude of roughly 13,000–16,000 meters. He said the aircraft’s wingspan has grown to 27.3 meters compared to earlier prototypes, allowing it to carry a payload of between two and four tons. The internal weapons bay reportedly includes two heavy missile mounts, enabling strikes against large surface warships as well as ground targets.
