Unlike other Jewish holidays, Rosh Hashana has no connection to the Jewish people besides the fact that it is celebrated by Jews!
Rosh Hashana is the celebration of the creation of the world - it's birthday which is now, according to Jewish tradition is 5,783 years-old. To all those who scoff at this low number, there are many answers which we will not go into now.
The important issue is that there have been calls to make this holiday a holiday for all of Humanity which wish to commemorate our world and its creation!
