NEWSRAEL: Could Rosh Hashana become a world-wide holiday?

Rosh Hashana is the most "un-Jewish" holiday there the Jewish people celebrate. Why is that?

Unlike other Jewish holidays, Rosh Hashana has no connection to the Jewish people besides the fact that it is celebrated by Jews!

Rosh Hashana is the celebration of the creation of the world - it's birthday which is now, according to Jewish tradition is 5,783 years-old. To all those who scoff at this low number, there are many answers which we will not go into now.

The important issue is that there have been calls to make this holiday a holiday for all of Humanity which wish to commemorate our world and its creation!

Happy Rosh Hashana to us all!

I think it’s more important to the Jews than this article gives them credit. There was thousands of worshippers at the wailing Wall celebrating and blowing the shofar. Praise be to the LORD GOD ALMIGH
