Joint statement from the Shin Bet, police and IDF spokespeople: After 17 years, a circle has been closed: Shin Bet, Yamam and IDF fighters arrested in Bethlehem the suspect in the murder of two IDF soldiers from 2007.
As part of a joint operation by the Shin Bet, Yamam and Collection Unit 636, the Shin Bet arrested for questioning Ali Dandis, suspected of involvement in a shooting attack in Nahal Telem that occurred on December 28, 2007, in which two IDF soldiers, Ahikam Amichai and the late David Rubin, were murdered while walking in the stream.
Dandis is also suspected of involvement in another shooting attack that occurred in 2012, which ended without casualties.
Over the years, the suspect was in "custody of the Palestinian security forces", today he was arrested in Bethlehem after being found outside the place of his arrest.
