At the end of a joint operation by the Israel Police, the GSS and the IDF, the two terrorists who carried out the attack in Elad, near the city, were arrested.

The combined pursuit included the use of technological, intelligence, gathering forces and special units by the police, the GSS and the IDF, including the Magellan unit, the poisoning unit, the commando brigade fighters and the assistance of the Israel Police Air Force helicopters.

A combined team spotted the two suspicious figures near the quarry.
