One Man's Journey to Israel

A new immigrant to Israel shared his journey, and how he fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving to Israel:
"Today I'm living a lifelong dream. I am moving to Israel!
In 2005 I made my first trip to Israel. This photo below was my first taken in the Holy Land. As an 11 1/2-year-old Australian Jew, I knew then I wanted to one day call this place home.
As I embark on my journey to Israel, words can't describe the incredible emotion I am feeling.
For the last 3 years, I have called New York home. As I stand on my roof overlooking this incredible city I am so blessed to have had so many opportunities and experiences all over the world.
I like to thank every single person who has made this journey in New York as great as it has been. It has been unreal to connect and reconnect with such incredible people and really making me feel at home on the UWS.
It is now time to finally come home!"
