Asaf Hamami, an IDF colonel, was killed defending Kibbutz Nirim during the October 7 attack, after which his body was abducted to Gaza by Hamas and returned to Israel on November 2, giving his family a measure of long-delayed closure.

After Hamas captivity, the body of Col. Asaf Hamami is returned home and has been laid to rest.

His parents speak to i24NEWS Hebrew channel, honoring their son’s bravery and sacrifice, and their journey of grief.
