Iranian International Relations Professor Gholamreza Haddad said in a September 1, 2025 interview on Entekhab on YouTube that the price of war is always higher than that of any agreement, since wars are ultimately followed by negotiations in which the losing side is forced to make concessions it would not otherwise have made.
He added that if the losing side refuses to negotiate, the winning side will unilaterally impose its own terms.
Haddad said that the costs incurred by Iran's uranium-enrichment policy have rendered it economically unjustified, since it has brought Iran no achievements.
