Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Monday that despite disagreements, he believes that the coalition will strike an agreement on the Arrangements Law before approving the state budget.
In addition, he said that the Finance Ministry will, he believes, come to terms with the farmers in regards to the agriculture reform and is thus far pleasantly surprised about the coalition’s functioning.
Lieberman emphasized that in his opinion there will be a majority of lawmakers to support both the Arrangements Law and the state budget. “There are always dramas and crises until the last minute, that’s an integral ‘built in’ part in the budget deliberations,” he stressed.
But “until today we managed to pass almost everything we wanted in the Knesset,” he added.
