Syrian al-Sharaa regime shows its true face in brutal crackdown on Druze

NEWSRAEL: For a long time, many in Israel have asked: Is al-Sharaa a gentleman - or a jihadist? Maybe we are just now seeing his true face.

After yesterday's deadly clashes with Bedouin tribes, the Syrian regime escalated violence by deploying tanks and heavy troops against the Druze population.

The IDF has reportedly targeted regime tanks and forces on the ground in response. Syrian sources confirmed at least 158 regime soldiers and police killed, though Druze casualties remain unreported.

In Israel, massive protests by Druze citizens demanded immediate IDF intervention. Disturbing videos circulating online show scenes of massacres and Druze victims, sparking outrage.
