Footage circulating online shows demonstrators in London openly praising the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressing loyalty to its clerical leadership, despite the regime’s responsibility for the deaths of tens of thousands of Iranians.

A video from central London shows depraved leftist activists and Islamist groups holding a public rally that goes beyond criticism of the West or Israel, instead openly celebrating the Islamic regime in Iran. Speakers and chants in the footage praise the actions of the ruling clerics and frame mass violence carried out by the regime as a form of “resistance.”

According to widely documented human rights assessments, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been responsible for the killing of more than 40,000 Iranians over the years through executions, crackdowns on protests, and systematic repression. The video shows no acknowledgment of these victims. Instead, participants appear to glorify the regime and pledge allegiance to the ayatollah-led system under Ali Khamenei.
