CENTCOM says the retaliatory operation hit IRGC boats, missile systems, radar sites and command networks after Iran attacked commercial shipping near the Strait of Hormuz.
US Central Command announced that American forces struck more than 80 targets across Iran in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels near the Strait of Hormuz.
The targets included Iranian air-defense systems, command-and-control networks, coastal radar sites and anti-ship missile capabilities. US forces also struck more than 60 Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps small boats operating in and around the strategic waterway.
CENTCOM described Iran’s attacks on international shipping as a dangerous violation of the ceasefire and warned that American forces remain positioned to hold Tehran accountable for further violations.
