White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked today what is the response to an unnamed politician in France to "return the Statue of Liberty" since, as he says, the Americans are not upholding the values this statue stands for.

Karoline has a blunt answer: "Absolutely not."

And then, she added an answer that will go down in history, as she reminded them (the French) that it's only because of the United States of America that the French are not speaking German right now.

WOW! That's telling them, Karoline!

During the metro strike in 1969 or 70 the French in Paris were gracious and offered rides and even invitations to their destinations ! It ended in 10 days !
