Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes attacked a building under construction in the town of Sayda Zeinab, south of Damascus, which led to the complete destruction of the entire building.

The sources explained to the "Voice of the Capital" news website that the Syrian air defense systems managed to intercept one Israeli missile south of Damascus, and noted that the sound of explosions could be heard throughout Damascus.

Activists distributed images showing the first moments of the attacks, as well as the smoke rising from the area under attack.

The regime's news agency, SANA, quoted an unnamed military source as saying, "Around 15:10 in the afternoon, Israeli aircraft carried out an air strike by firing two missiles from the direction of the Golan, at several targets in the vicinity of the city of Damascus.

The source claimed that the air defense forces shot at the attackers, shot down one of the missiles and that there were no casualties among the forces at the scene and that only property damage was caused.

On November 12, Israeli warplanes bombed positions of regime forces in Syria, and the IDF said at the time that "the planes attacked a certain target on Syrian soil after missiles were launched from there towards the Israeli Golan territory."

At the time, the IDF did not specify in its announcement the location of the target areas that were attacked inside Syria, while the Syrian regime did not respond to what the Israeli army announced.
