Protest near government offices in Jerusalem – Suspect arrested for disturbing the peace.
Yesterday, a protest took place near government offices in Jerusalem.
Police forces and Border Guard soldiers are working to secure its participants, maintain public order, direct traffic, and escort a procession that left earlier from the Rope Bridge in Jerusalem toward Government City.
Some of the protest participants began to disturb public order near the Bank of Israel compound, while not complying with the instructions of the police officers on site, creating provocations and clashing with police officers.
As a result, a police officer issued a notice for disturbing the peace and ordered them to continue their march to the coordinated protest area.
After they did not comply, the police worked together with Border Guard soldiers to repel them, and in the process, a suspect was arrested for questioning following an attack on a policewoman.
