The Frenchman and the Saudi, Macron and Mohammed bin Salman, receive a resounding slap in the face that (at this point) diminishes support for a future Palestinian state:
ERAN MALKA: As I reported several times on the channel: In the next two weeks, a conference was to be held at the UN headquarters in New York, at the end of which a joint statement was to be issued expressing support for a Palestinian state.
The British Guardian noted today that Saudi Arabia and France, which built on the support of Britain and other Western countries, reported that "this will happen, possibly, in the future" and before supporting/declaring, it is necessary to verify the existence of necessary and important steps in the Palestinian arena, which precede all of the following:
- Permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
- Releasing the Israeli hostages.
- Comprehensive and deep reforms in the PA.
- Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
- End of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip.
NEWSRAEL: In short, French prez Macron goes the way of Balaam in the bible which went to curse the people of Israel returning from the exile to the Land of Israel - and ended up blessing them.
