As part of an investigation by the National Unit for the Investigation of Serious and International Crimes (Yachbal) and the Shin Bet, suspicion arose against a woman in her seventies, an anti-government protest activist, a resident of Tel Aviv, who expressed an intention to others to assassinate the Prime Minister.

In order to promote and realize her intentions, the suspect contacted additional protest activists in order to obtain weapons and also inquired about the Prime Minister's security arrangements.

In recent days, the investigation was concluded and the material was transferred to the Attorney General's Office for further processing in accordance with its authority.

The publication ban on the details of the investigation was lifted at the request of the investigating unit, at the request of the defense attorney, the court ordered a publication ban on her name and address.
