EDITORIAL: Israel must demand from Europe: Pressure Hamas – not Israel

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar’s remarks about intense European pressure on Israel ring painfully true. At a time when Hamas is holding Israeli hostages, using civilians as shields, and sabotaging every ceasefire effort, European governments are fixated on criticizing Israel.

This lopsided approach is not only misguided—it is dangerous.

Instead of holding Hamas accountable for war crimes and terror, Europe has chosen to chastise Israel for defending its citizens.

This distorted moral compass fuels Hamas’ obstinacy. Every time a European diplomat demands that Israel "stop the war" Hamas hears: "Keep going—we’ve got your back." It’s no wonder the terrorists dig in further.
