Since the outbreak of the "Iron Swords" war, the content of incitement and mockery against Israel is increasing on social networks and on the Internet.
With the introduction into our lives, in a storm it should be noted, of artificial intelligence, we came to know how far the capabilities of the technology (which a moment ago sounded like science fiction), exceed any imagination. Along with the endless and positive possibilities of AI, it seems that hostile elements have also learned how to exploit it to their advantage.
Since the "Iron Swords" war began, we have witnessed the same abuse of artificial intelligence capabilities against us and against the State of Israel, time after time. So how do you conduct the propaganda war against the industry of lies and fake news spread by the pro-Palestinian organizations on the internet and social networks?
One of the companies that stands at the forefront of this war is the big data company Eternity, which routinely deals with consulting for entities and companies in the fields of data and information, using advanced technologies. With the outbreak of the war, the company became involved in monitoring, detecting and thwarting false anti-Israeli content on the Internet - all in order to generate international legitimacy for Israel's continued fighting with Hamas.
The capabilities of the new system developed by the company reach the most accurate resolutions, including identifying new posts with false content and problematic content that has the potential to become viral. The goal - effective reporting on those contents and their complete deletion from social networks and the Internet.
For example, the photo above was published claiming that it shows IDF forces firing inside Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The artificial intelligence identified that the image was taken from a video originally taken during riots that occurred in August, in which Egyptian security forces attacked protesters inside a hospital.
In addition, the system locates anti-Semitic videos that are uploaded to the various networks, verifies their content, and determines whether they present a true or false claim, based on a variety of information sources from around the Internet. At the same time, the system creates original Israeli informational content using artificial intelligence - all completely automatically.
Another example can be seen in the picture above. A photo presented as if it was taken in a hospital in Gaza following the fighting and was identified as fake by artificial intelligence. The system recognized that the medical equipment was placed incorrectly, and found that the source of the image was actually taken from the production of a television show in Malaysia.
Ariel Oz, CTO at Eternity, says that "at the beginning of the war, we decided to take the wheel in our hands and started contributing to the cause of Israeli advocacy in the world. As a company that routinely deals with data and big data, we knew how to identify and analyze the huge amounts of information that circulate easily on the net."
According to him, "We took the tools we have in the company, which are routinely used by companies for the purposes of data organization, we converted them to the needs of advocacy and in fact we developed a smart tool that uses artificial intelligence to fight rival artificial intelligence - all for the sake of strengthening Israel's legitimacy in the world."
